In Feb 2016, I have visited Kerala with my wife and 4 year old son. I want to share my experience about the places we have visited. We spent totally five days in Kerala.
We have started our journey from Rameswaram in our own car. We had our driver with us. Since it is a family trip, i don't want to drive without enjoying the journey. But truth behind it, i m not that much good in driving :)
We planned this trip for almost one year and due to some unavoidable reason, the trip was getting delayed. Every time i used to get nice scolding from my wife. Then finally we made it and my family was happy.
After a long research in internet about the places, we came up with below itinerary
First Day --- Thekkady
Second and third day --- Munnar
Fourth day ---- Guruvayur and Cochin
Final day --- Alleppey Boat house.
Actually first we planned to visit wayanad. But travel expertise advised us not to mix above itinerary with wayanad, since wayanad itself requires 3 to 4 days. so we dropped the wayanad plan.
Finally we are ready with our things. we bought selfie stick also which was really helpful for taking photos.
Lets start our journey.......
